Endémica de Ecuador. Se distribuye a la base de la Cordillera Oriental de los Andes en el sur de Ecuador, a altitudes entre 600 - 700 msnm.
Localidad tipo: "cabeceras del Río Bobonaza (01° 31´, 77° 19´, apróx.), 686 m (2,250 ft), Provincia de Pastaza, Ecuador".
Zona altitudinal Tropical oriental.
