Registration process for Direct-enrollment Students

If you are a direct-enrollment student, you must register through PUCE’s Dirección General de Estudiantes:

Registration process for Incoming Students from partner universities

Registration Requirements

  • If you study at one of our partner universities, your institution must send PUCE’s International Office (see contacts below) a Request for Admission - an official letter or e-mail specifying the names of incoming students and the number of semesters they will be studying at PUCE.

  • Application Deadline:
    - First week of June (Fall Semester)
    - First week of December (Spring Semester)

Documents needed

Once you have received the Acceptance Letter form PUCE, your institution must send the documents specified below, in a sealed envelope to PUCE’s International Office, addressed to:

  • Original transcripts.
  • A Doctor’s certificate of good health specifying that the student has all the required immunizations.
  • 4 passport-sized photographs
  • A copy of the passport (page with personal data) and the Visa.
  • If students are staying with a host family, they must fill-out and submit the

    [ Homestay Form ]
Students’ documents must arrive at PUCE by the first week of July (Fall Semester) or by the first week of January (Spring Semester).

Language Requirement

In order to take regular courses at PUCE, you must take the Spanish Placement Exam upon arrival and be placed in level 5 Spanish (high-intermediate) if you wish to take Literature courses, level 6 Spanish is the minimum language requirement.
